:: Academic Program ::
 The emphasis of the courses offered in London is on GE classes and courses that relate specifically to London and to Great Britain. The summer program is six-weeks long and coordinates class lectures with out-of-class activities.
A portion of each student’s program fee subsidizes a rich variety of cultural and social activities. During the program, plans include visits to the British Museum, British Library, Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Imperial War Museum, as well as a daytrip to the City of Bath and Stonehenge. Students will also have the opportunity to attend performances at the reconstructed Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and possibly an opera at the National Opera or Theatre on the West End.
Students can also participate in an Optional Weekend Trip to Paris. The cost for this trip is approximately $500.
Due to the six-week duration of the program, traveling to Scotland, Ireland, and to the continent is encouraged at the completion of the program. 
Architecture Professor Michael Lucas and Music Professsor Terry Spiller will teach courses in the program. In addition to the Cal Poly faculty, a British adjunct faculty will be hired to teach the Humanities courses.
